Can a woman be as strong a leader as a man in times of peace and war?

Gender is not a factor that affects leadership abilities. I strongly believe that women are as capable to rule well in time of peace and war as men do. It's qualities other than gender that make a strong leader. The qualities i believe a leader has to have are: ability to make and apply good decisions and be decisive, be able to work with a group of advisors and make good teamwork, and finally be sensitive to the needs of the people. These qualities do not apply to only one or the other gender.

Making and applying good decisions at the right time for a the country is a very important factor for good leadership during war and peace time. Women as well as men in order to rule  have to be capable to make good decisions that will affect the country in a positive way and these decisions have to be for the good of the country and not for the leader's good. I think they are both capable to do that because firstly they are both decisive when  serious decisions have to be made in a limited amount of time especially at war time. Secondly they can both be able to analyze the facts and think a lot before making that decision. And thirdly because they can  put in action their decisions and not just say words. When they say something they also have to make it happen.

Another factor that affects leadership abilities is working well in teams and listening to the advises of the advisors in both peace and war times. Both women and men are able to do that because, they both have a good working relationship with their groups of advisors. They also are capable of leading discussions and take part in the conversations in the room, in other words being sociable and finally they are actively involved in the process to making these decisions and work hard to accomplish their goals.

Lastly, being sensitive to the needs of the people, applies to both women and men. They can both be close to the people, so they know their problems and try to solve them in the best way possible. They both can make policies(rules) that are good for the people as a whole and not a particular group of people. In other words they are fair and treat the citizens equally and respect their opinions even if they disagree with them. And finally both genders protect the people from sicknesses (Plaque) and disasters and try to improve their standards of living.

Being a leader is hard work and in order to be successful you have to meet these qualities. I believe that any  gender -both women and men- can do that since in my opinion are equal and have the ability to reach be good leaders in either war or peace times.
